The two additional ground floor bedrooms both feature a queen size bed and built in closets.
The large loft has a queen size bed and two singles.
The main bathroom has a soaker tub and a separate shower with grab bars and a bench seat for extra safety.
The living room has a spectacular view of the water and a wood burning stove. Lots of comfortable seating provide a cozy place to read, listen to music or watch cable television, dvds or videos on the wide screen. A Marantz/Bose sound system allows the best reproduction of your cds.
The dining room looks out on a view of the inlet between South and North Pender, and the large table seats 8 people comfortably.
The kitchen is truly the heart of this home with one side all windows overlooking the decks, hot tub, grassy terrace and the inlet; comprehensively equipped for the most demanding chef with a Viking gas range and double electric convection/convention wall ovens, plus a microwave. Cuisinart food processor, Kitchenaid Professional mixer, most small electrical appliances and a set of good knives all designed to make meal preparation as easy as possible. The wraparound granite counter top and stools allow for “helpers” to sit and watch the activity both in the kitchen and on the water – a perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktail.
The family room completes the ocean side of this house and this area also has a wood burning enclosed fireplace, a large round table, as well as a comfortable sofa and chair, a small television and a music centre. The sliding glass doors lead out on to the largest of the three decks and to the large hot tub.
The hot tub is also positioned to take advantage of the spectacular ocean views.
At Seadrift, all the decks look over ocean views with lots of patio furniture which allow you to take full advantage of bright sunny days and a gas barbecue is provided for the guests.
The large games room on the lower level provides ample space for the indoor “sports” enthusiasts with table tennis and Fuzzball and floor space for the younger family members to play and set up their own games.
Seadrift is surrounded by a large grassy area which ensures privacy and there is a wooden staircase leading down to the rocky beach.
